Update!

Dear B3 Fight Supporters:

It has been a long time since I have posted. I wanted to update this as this month has been a pivital month for Doctor visits. Some that were scheduled and some that were surprises. I had my first mammogram since my cancer treatments ended in October of last year. 

Along with that I had some MRI's for my pain management check ups for my back issues and in doing so they found some nodules on my Thyroid. I had to have those biopsied by an Endocrinologist/Surgeon this past week.

Both set of tests came back at the same time and both were free and clear of cancer.

We are rejoiceing over the good news.  It was a bit tense for a few days of waiting.  I am still experiencing some new things wth additional weight loss, and some continual loss of saliva glands and sore throat. Not so sure what that is all about and hopefully now that we know the nodules are not cancer, they can pursue what is going on with my thyroid. I have dropped another 4 lbs. and I cannot complain, but I cannot afford another new wardrobe either.

I am back to work part time about 25 hours a week and staying busy. There are somedays though, I still hit my wall and have to just stop and take time to rest.  My stamina is getting better as each new day passes.  My hair is growing back and I am back to wearing it curley some days and flat others.  Just nice to have hair!
