This brought me to tears today. I remember so vividly the day this picture was taken. These are my siblings and my Mom. We were gathered and waiting to take the shot and my brother Jimmy didn't show up. So we held his picture up. We laughed till we cried. (for my friends, I am the one in the bottom left hand corner)
It is so sad to think that my Mom is no longer here as well as my sister Charlene (bottom right)who passed away from cancer.
It is without a doubt that laughter brings healing to one's soul. A dear friend once said, I needed to smile more, I am smiling, who can help but not!
I remember this day also. I think I fought with my Dad til I was blue in the face that day to go over there. I was so mad at him for not getting in that picture. This was the last family picture too....ugh...but it does put a smile on our faces! :)
This picture depics the hearts of the Uebelhoer clan; all 350 or so of them. If your feeling blue, an afternoon with them and you'll wonder what you were blue about. I've spent many a holiday, special event, or just a cool summer evening enjoying laughs and love with the Uebelhoers
