Aunt Bren, We are behind you 110% we love you and need you in our lives. When you get weak, lean on us, your "troops". And Lean on the Lord Jesus Christ! He is your Savior. " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" Love you, Sara
You can make it through this! God has it ALL under control, and is just letting His perfect plan play out. He will give you the strength and the courage that you need. Keep up the fight! You have the love of your Savior and ALL your friends and family on your side!
Dear Brenda, I have only met you once, but that was enough to know you are a wonderful woman! I am Natalie's old neighbor from Florida. I am sending you my prayers and love for a total recovery. My Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Aunt all had breast cancer and made it through. It will be a rough road but God will be beside you the entire way, just lean on him. Amie Dammes
Dear Brenda, I have prayed for you each day. Remember you are joining a long line of survivors in the Uebelhoer family. Keep up your spirits and take one day at a time. It has always been my motto and it makes a long haul seem simpler. Have faith, have strength, have courage. You will beat this. Love, Joanne and Roger
Dear Bren, I think of you every day and want you to know how much you mean to our family!! You should ask for help when you need it and listen to your body. When it tells you that it needs to rest, you need to nap and know that you are healing. Let people take over the mundane chores. Think positive thoughts and have a good laugh. (I'd send you my chemo wigs, but Mary's grandchildren are "restyling them and being divas" by putting them to good use.) You did a great job with John when he was little and I am always greatful for your caring for him. (He was so good to me when I was sick and visiting him in NY) Let your great kids take care of you. You also have a pretty tough group of sisters and brothers to support you. Use us!! We are all praying for you. We LOVE you so much!! JACK and MARGARET
Brennie, There is a bond between us that no one can understand unless you are a twin. If I could take your cancer I would because your life has had its share of ups and downs for the both of us. Know that I am here at a moments notice if you need anything. I will even wear a blue wig with you and shave my head if I need to and that's a promise! I love you. Barbie
You will be in my thoughts and prayers everyday! My prayers will also, be for your care givers that the Lord will work through and guide them in your care. I know you have a lot of freinds and family here in New York and I want yout to imagine a flow of good positive never ending energy and love coming to you. You are with us and we will be with you.
I have only known 2 people who have had breast cancer and they are still going strong to this day (and one was 22 years ago and she is now 55!!!) so as they say in England "Keep your pecker up". You will beat this. Although I have only met you once, I feel as though I know you and love you so much because I know and love Barb so much. It must be a twin thing. I am thinking of you often and have put you on a prayer chain in New Jersey as well. Stay strong and you will pull through. Lots of love. Karole xoxo
Aunt Brenda - My thoughts are with you every day, hoping for the best possible outcome. Remember that no matter what happens to your "boobies", your greatest gifts to share are your heart, mind, and soul! Keep doing that and you will heal all the faster. Love and support - Jill and Maggie
Dear Sweet Brenda, Please know that we are with you in spirit and we are with you in prayer. You have looked huge challenges in the eye and overcome them. I am reminded of Maya Angelo, who said "Surviving is important; thriving is elegant". Your grace and elegance will overcome this too. All our love, Gail & Bernie
Brenda- Do not feel alone. Your wonderful extended family and many others are there for you to lean on. I, and our church, are praying for you. It is normal to be scared, but a positive attitude does amazing things. Blessings, Joanne Rooks
As you know you are one of my favorite aunts, and that's because you are a loving, caring, and wonderful woman! I know you will beat this cancer because you are stong and tough! I am thinking of you daily, and keeping you in my prayers as well. Stay strong, and I hope to come visit again soon. Love you.xoxo
Hi Brenda. You don't know me, but I know your twin sister and she told me about the struggles you are facing. I met her at Treasures and painted her furniture for her. I will be lifting you up in prayer each and everyday, even if it is to just throw your name up to our precious Jesus. I have been through some struggles myself and I know He is always faithful. My husband's grandmother was diagnosed at age 95 with breast cancer and had a successful masectomy of both breasts and then 3 months later went on to have successful open heart surgery. She just turned 98 in January! She is a devout Christian and an incredible testament of faith and perseverance. I always tell her I want to be just like her when I grow up. I hope you will think of "Doris" if your struggles get you down and what a trooper she still is. I can tell you are surrounded by a loving family, friends and even strangers like me. Many blessings, Susan
Brenda, You do not know me, but I just wanted to let you know that you have some amazing friends who and family that love you! I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you! When God heals you, you will have an amazing story to tell!
Nick and Brenda: Because you two are "one flesh", this is about you too Nick, since it is your breast too.......As you already know, I am a survivor of almost 17 years. The key to my survival was my 4-Fs - FAITH, FRANK, FAMILY and FRIENDS! Handle it with God at the forefront, BUT handle it your way, not always the way others may. Read the Psalms until the Holy Spirit resonates in you. Always choose hope and remember all the things that cancer CANNOT DO! You can count on our prayers to the Greatest Physicien of all on behalf of you both. I love you - Deb
Brenda since your brother is so computer illiterate I have to do this for him! We both send our prayers, love and positive thinking. All everyone cares about is that you will be allright.I will have church say a prayer for you. We love you:)
Bren, Thanks for telling me about this website - I just cried my way through the whole dang thing! But seriously, it is a testimony to the love and support you have in your family, friends, church family, co-workers and acquaintances. You are one strong lady! In those times when you get tired or discouraged remember The One that took your burden all the way to the cross. Lay your burden there and know that it has been paid for by Him who loves you infinitely more than you can imagine. Rest in His love and care for you! Your FL girls are praying for you and if you need any little thing we are just a phone call (or FB IM, tehe) away! Love ya!
It cannot cripple love. It cannot shatter hope. It cannot corrode faith. It cannot eat away peace. It cannot destroy confidence. It cannot kill friendship. It cannot shut out memories. It cannot silence courage. It cannot invade the soul. It cannot reduce eternal life. It cannot quench the spirit. It cannot lessen the power of God.
Bren, I am good friends with Barbara and work in the clinics with her in Roswell. My son went thru chemo and I have had cancer so I want to tell you from experience to stay strong, and this hard part will be over soon. Lean on others when you need to do so. You have a lot of strong arms holding you up now and most of all you are in God's strong arms. You can and will do this because it's what you have to do. We are there for you continually praying for you!! Denise Jobe
Brenda and Nick, What a blessing it is to have you both in our grief group. You both touch me each time you speak. I am praying for you both during this trial. I don't live far away and would LOVE to come clean toilets, vacuum, do anything you need. I am looking forward to continuing to get to know you both and in loving each other through our grief. May God wrap His loving arms around you each day. Love and Prayers, Angela Waters 545-7087
So glad to hear your first treatment is over. When I had radiation it felt good to say 1 down and so 2 more to go etc. When you get to the half way mark it's great to get the feeling of down hill all the way. One day at a time. Love and prayers to you both and your children as everyone is affected by this ordeal. Joanne
Tom and I have been keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. I hope the chemo isn't makng you too sick. I know there are so many kinds and they affect you differently. I hear you haven't lost your sense of humor. I pray God gives you all the strength you need to get through this with tons of love and support! Are you a redhead yet? I heard you might be. With much love, Nan and Tom.
MY TURN, To all of my friends and family who have been so great in the love and support - I am blown away. I want to thank you for your continued comments and well wishes. Today I am just plain ole tired. I go this week for my second treatment and I am gearing myself up mentally for it. We had several days of sunshine here in TN and that really helps me think positive! I wanna get out on the motorcycle and let my wig catch the breeze! :-) Thank you so much for the love. Bren
